The flavor combination of blue cheese and hot buffalo sauce is one of my all-time favorites. And I’ve found a great way to get it — without having to prepare or cook chicken wings.

Buffalo hot wing celery sticks satisfy my craving perfectly — and have me eating a lot more celery than I have in a long time. As a kid, my mom often made celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins, but it’s not a snack that I was that crazy about as an adult. But this definitely takes it up to the adult level… especially with the heat.

After reading about spermidine-rich foods recently — of which blue cheese is — I’ve been looking for ways to get more of these anti-aging foods into my diet. This fits the bill perfectly and turns a beloved childhood snack into one that may carry through to more “youthful” senior years, especially since it’s shown to help lower blood pressure too.
